Modeling

Modeling is the main activity the Engage Process Modeler is created and suited for. The whole modeling activity is performed inside a project where folders, diagrams, documents, roles and custom types are created. They all compose an environment where the actual process mapping is done.

Process mapping is actually building a process diagram by inserting process steps as well as deleting, cutting, pasting and moving parts of the diagram. You can also edit properties of the process or its steps to express some specific features and behaviour of the process. If a process becomes big it can be divided into subprocesses and then the process navigation becomes an important issue.
