Activity type conversion

There are three types of activities in Engage Process:

•	Non-automatic task (Manual, Computer, Telephone, Internet, Other, Meeting and Teamwork)

•	Automatic task - it has the same properties as a non-automatic task except Roles

•	Decision - it has the same properties as a non-automatic task plus the properties of a Choice.

The type of an activity can be easily changed by changing its Type property either in the Mini Property Editor or in the Properties pane.

TypeConversion

Once the type is changed into Decision it cannot be changed anymore to another activity type. This is because a Decision has always more than one followers whereas the other activities have exactly one follower. The type of Decision step can only be changed into Choice. The type of Choice step can only be changed into Decision.
